Why this site exists

A few years ago I built a scooter-sharing app myself, bought ten scooters, and turned them into a small rental business — sourcing the hardware, installing GPS trackers, handling maintenance, and figuring out the parts nobody puts in a pitch deck.

Most content online about starting a micromobility business is either written by marketing agencies who've never touched a scooter, or by big companies with budgets that don't reflect what it's actually like to start small. This site is the opposite: real numbers, real mistakes, and the operational details that only show up once you're actually running fleet hardware in the real world.

I'm not selling a course or a SaaS tool. Some articles link to products or services I've actually used — where that's the case, it's disclosed clearly, and I only link to things I'd genuinely recommend to someone starting where I did.
